Our historic mill has been a staple of Julian, NC and surrounding communities since 1895. My grandfather began working at the mill in 30s before buying it 10 years later. And then for the next 50+ years, my granddad turned his friends and neighbors into faithful customers, with my dad Jimmy working right alongside him. And when my granddad passed (may he rest), my dad took over with my brother Neil and me. That's how the family got into slingin' seed.

We've milled, bagged, and sold everything from livestock feed and grain to grass-seed, and then of course, there's our truly one-of-a-kind birdseed, in my humble opinion.

I've studied and sourced, mixed and tested, and what we've landed on is the perfect blend of premium birdseed that has proven to be superior to all others on the market, if what our customers say is true.

We took our birdseed from local shops to retailers across the state to online which allows us to deliver our epic birdseed nationwide.

Our birdseed is bagged fresh daily and shipped directly from our headquarters at the Old Mill in Julian, NC to your front door.
